General conditions
Last updated 29 June 2026
These general conditions govern your use of Kard, the digital business card service available at kard.be. By signing in and using the service you agree to these conditions. Kard is operated by the company identified at the foot of this page.
The service
Kard lets you create a digital business card: a public profile page with your contact details and links, a downloadable vCard and optional Apple and Google wallet passes. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the service.
Your account
Access to Kard is through Microsoft single sign-on; there is no separate password. You are responsible for keeping your Microsoft account secure and for everything done through your Kard account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Trial, subscriptions and billing
New accounts start on a time-limited free trial with full features. When the trial ends, your public card goes offline to visitors until an active subscription is in place; you and your administrators can still see and edit it. Paid plans are billed in advance for the chosen period, teams are billed per seat, and prices and any taxes are shown before you subscribe.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Kard lawfully and not to:
- publish content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, or that impersonates another person or organisation;
- upload content you do not have the right to use;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service;
- use the service to send spam or to harvest other people’s data.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you put on your card. You grant us the licence needed to host, display and distribute that content so we can operate the service — for example, rendering your public card and generating your vCard and wallet passes. You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the right to use it.
Our intellectual property
Kard, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us or our licensors. These conditions do not transfer any of those rights to you beyond the right to use the service.
Availability
We work to keep Kard available and reliable, but we provide the service “as is” and cannot guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance and may suspend the service where necessary.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from the content you publish or from your use of the service. Nothing in these conditions limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Kard and delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or end access if these conditions are breached or where required by law. When your account ends, your public card is taken offline and your data is handled as described in our privacy statement.
Changes to these conditions
We may update these conditions as the service changes. When we make a material change we will update the date shown above, and significant changes will be communicated through the service. Continuing to use Kard after a change means you accept the updated conditions.
Governing law
These conditions are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the courts with jurisdiction over the registered office of the operating company, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
